Is a waterproof test necessary?

The pouch was made of plastic and may get damaged during shipping or storage. Therefore, it is crucial to perform a waterproof test with a tissue before each use to avoid the risk of leakage. You could notice the cracks before using it in the water, this is very important to protect your phone.

How to Confirm the Waterproof Case is Properly Closed?

When closing the waterproof case, please be sure to completely seal both sides prior to locking it in position. You need to press very hard until you hear a click, only then is it properly sealed.
If you don’t hear a clear click when closing the clips, please ensure that the clips are securely fastened and conduct a 30-minute waterproof test to check for any leaks.

Water dripped onto the phone when taking it out.

Water droplets may drip from the clip area when removing the phone because the hollow design can trap a small amount of water. To avoid this, make sure to dry the clip area before taking out your phone.

During the test under water, bubbles emerged from the clip area.

When the waterproof pouch is placed in water, a few air bubbles escaping from the clip area are normal due to its hollow design—this is simply trapped air being released. Please wait for five minutes and check again. If bubbles still appear, it means the pouch isn’t sealing properly. The touch screen cannot be worked underwater, making it impossible to take photos.

Because of the influence of water temperature and pressure, the touchscreen function may not be that sensitive underwater. You need to use the volume button to take pictures, or you can start a video mode first and then enter the underwater, and then take screenshots.
It would be better to keep the phone dry and squeeze the air out before you bring the case to the water.

Fog inside the waterproof pouch. Photos or videos taken underwater appear very blurry.

This issue is caused by the following reasons:
1. Fogging inside the pouch caused by temperature differences, which obstructs the phone's camera lens.
2. Poor underwater lighting conditions affecting the phone camera's autofocus and light sensitivity, resulting in reduced photo quality.
3. Air trapped between the case and the lens, creating a gap that disrupts focus and causes blurriness.
We recommend keeping the phone and the inside of the pouch dry, and squeezing the air out before using it underwater for optimal results.

It is not suitable for phones with a case and a tablet.

The YOSH waterproof Case is suitable for most full-screen phones with a diagonal length of up to 6.8 inches. It is designed based on not having a case on your phone (naked phone). So we advised every customer to take off the phone case before placing the phone into the dry pouch.
And it is not suitable for older non-full-screen phones, tablets, kindle,or foldable phones.

The waterproof pouch sticks to the screen, making it difficult to insert or remove the phone.

1, Please wipe the inside of the case and phone before and after use to keep them dry, this will help reduce screen sticking.
2, You can try to put a paper card between the waterproof case and phone when insert/put out it, it would be easier.

For iPhone SE2, the home button does not work.

iPhone 7/8/SE/SE2 has the 3D Touch function (pressure-sensitive home button), which unusable. Therefore, we recommend setting up "Assistive Touch" as a substitute for the home button.
Following these steps:
1.Open Settings→Accessibility→Select Touch
2.Tap on "AssistiveTouch" and toggle the switch to turn it on. You will see a small circle (AssistiveTouch menu) appear on your screen.
How to use after setup:
1) The O button will appear on the screen.
2) Tap the O button and press "Home".
3) Enter your passcode. The lock has been released.

Scratches and stains appear on the surface of the transparent pouch after use, and the transparent pouch may also turn yellow.

1)This pouch is made of soft PVC material, please do not store it with sharp objects such as keys. Avoid strong impact or contact with sharp objects during use.
2)After using it at the beach or similar locations, please rinse the pouch first to prevent scratches caused by sand or gravel.
3)Please avoid contact with sunscreen, essential oils, or similar substances to prevent the transparent pouch from becoming opaque due to these oily products.
4)Avoid exposing the waterproof pouch to intense sunlight to prevent yellowing.

Can the fingerprint unlock be used?

The waterproof case does not support fingerprint unlocking. We recommend that you switch to a numeric passcode unlock in advance.

Can the facial recognition unlock be used?

This waterproof case supports Face ID. However, please ensure the following:
1. There is no gap between the front camera and the transparent pouch.
2. The surface of the transparent pouch is clean, and there is no fog inside the case.
3. The surrounding environment has sufficient lighting.
Otherwise, the unlocking performance may be affected.

After putting the Android phone in, it keeps prompting "Do not cover the headphone area" or "Do not cover the top of the phone".

This is because the Touch-disable mode which is designed to prevent mistaken operation being carried out on your phone when it is in your pocket or bag.
To solve this problem, we advise:
Open Settings→find the Smart assistance(or the Lock screen)→go into the More→Inactivate Touch-disable mode
This may be not the exact place of this settings will be, since the positions may be different in different brands of phones.

After placing the phone inside, it sank to the bottom and did not float.

Please confirm whether the waterproof pouch you purchased is the floating version. If it is the floating version, the transparent pouch comes with airbag. Otherwise, it is a normal waterproof pouch.

The air bag in one of the waterproof pouches have less air than the other.

For the floating version waterproof case (with airbag):
The air bag may have slight air differences but won't affect the floating functionality. Test by placing your phone inside after the waterproof test. If it sinks, contact us for a free replacement (a photo would be better):support@yoshforyouth.com.

Does the strap adjust automatically due to the weight of the phone?

The strap does not adjust on its own due to the phone's weight. However, if your hand or arm accidentally touches the slider buckle on the lanyard, it may adjust, even if the contact was unnoticed.
